Henry was born in 1281 in Grismond Castle,Monmouthshire,England.  Henry's father was "Crouchback" Earl Lancaster England Prince Edmund and his mother was of Artois, Queen of Navarre Blanche.  His paternal grandparents were King of England (1216-1272) Henry III and of Provance, Queen England Eleanor; his maternal grandparents were Count of Artois Robert I and of Brabant Countess Matilda. He had two brothers and a sister, named Thomas, John and Mary. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Theobald and of Naverre, Queen of Naverre.  He died at the age of 64 on September 22nd, 1345 in Monastry of,Cannons,England.  He was buried in Monastry of,Cannons,England.


Henry's family with Maud Chaworth

‌Henry and Maud were married in a religious ceremony.  They had a son and five daughters, named Henry Grosmont, Blanche, Maud, Joan, Eleanor and Mary.
