Isabella was born about 1186 in Angouleme, France.1   Isabella's father was Aymer Taillefer 14th Count de Angouleme and her mother was Alix Courtenay Countess of Angouleme.  Her paternal grandfather was William Taillefer IV 11th Count de Angouleme and her paternal grandmother is Emma de Limoges; her maternal grandparents were Pierre Capet , De Courtenay Emporer Of Constantinople and Elizabeth De Courtenay.  She was an only child.  She died on May 31st, 1246 in Fontevrand, Anjou, France.  She was buried in Fonterault Abbey,Fonterault,Maine-et-Loire,France.1 


Isabella's first family with "Lackland" King of England John

‌Isabella and "Lackland" King of England were married in a religious ceremony on August 24th, 1200 in Bordeaux Cathedral, France.1   They had two sons and three daughters, named King of England (1216-1272), Prince, Queen Scotland Princess of England, Empress Germany Princess of England and Princess of England.


Isabella's second family with Hugh X Count De Lusignan

‌Isabella and Hugh X Count were married in a religious ceremony in 1220.1   They had three sons and two daughters, named Hugh Xi, Guillaume de Lusignan, William (Earl) de Brume, Alice Le Brun and Isabelle.
