King was born on May 15th, 1008 in Bourgogne, France.¹ King's father was "The Pious" King Of France Robert II and his mother was Constance de Toulouse. His paternal grandparents were , King of France Capet Hugh and Adelaide of Poitou Princess of Aquitaine; his maternal grandparents were William I Count of Provence and Adelaide (Blanche) de Anjou. He had three brothers and four sisters, named "The Grand" France, Duke of Burgundy, Eudo [Odes] Prince, Adelaide Havoise Princess Of, Adaele (Alix) of France, Capet de France and Havoise (Adelaide) of France. He had a half-sibling of unknown gender named Living. He died at the age of 52 on August 4th, 1060 in Vitry-on-Brie, France. He was buried in St. Denis.¹¹
