of Artois, Queen of Navarre was born about 1235 in Arras,Pas-De-Calais,France.  Of Artois, Queen of Navarre's father was Count of Artois Robert I and her mother was of Brabant Countess Matilda.  Her paternal grandparents were "The Lion" King of France Louis VIII and Princess of Castile, Queen of France Blanche; her maternal grandparents were Henry II Brabant Duke and Marie De Swabia [Princess of Ge. She had a brother named Robert II.  She was the older of the two children.  She died on May 2nd, 1302 in Paris,Seine,France.  She was buried in Minoresses,Convent,Aldgate,Middlesex,England.
