Eleanor Plantagenet Countess of Arundel 
Eleanor was born in 1311 in Grismond Castle, Monmouthshire, England. Eleanor's father was Henry Plantagenet Earl of Lancaster and her mother was Maud Chaworth. Her paternal grandparents were "Crouchback" Earl Lancaster England Prince Edmund and of Artois, Queen of Navarre Blanche; her maternal grandparents were Patrick Chaworth Sir Knight and Isabel Beauchamp. She had a brother and four sisters, named Henry Grosmont, Blanche, Maud, Joan and Mary. She was the second youngest of the six children. She died at the age of 61 on January 11th, 1372 in Arundel Castle, Sussex, England. She was buried in Lewes Priory, Lewes, Sussex, England.General Notes
