Samuel Given 
Samuel was born on October 3rd, 1776. Samuel's father was William Given and his mother was Nancy Agnes Bratton. His paternal grandfather was Major John Given and his paternal grandmother is Mary Margaret Sitlington; his maternal grandparents were Robert Bratton and Ann McFarland. He had seven brothers and seven sisters, named Robert, William, Adam, James, John, George, Henry, Sarah "Sally" Hannah, Janet "Ginny", Mary, Isabella, Anne, Margaret "Peggy" and Agnes. He was the seventh oldest of the fifteen children. He died at the age of 74 on June 10th, 1851 in Middle Grove, Monroe County, Missouri.1 -
