Obediah Basham 
Obediah was born on June 9th, 1825 in Breckenridge Co., Kentucky.1 Obediah's father was Frederick Basham and his mother was Abigail NORTON. His paternal grandparents were Obediah Basham and Celia Dowell; his maternal grandparents are Jeremiah Norton and Abigail Unknown. He had six brothers and six sisters, named Jeremiah (Felix), Allen Kellogg (Kell), Henry Washington, Isaac Thomas, Godfrey Taylor, Robert H. (Doc), Susan, Abigail, Celia, Sarah, Theodesia M 'Docia' and Rosena Ann. He was the second oldest of the thirteen children. He died at the age of 76 on June 13th, 1901.1 General Notes
