Robert H. (Doc) was born on April 10th, 1849 in Clifton Mill, Breckenridge Co., Ky.1 Robert H. (Doc)'s father was Frederick Basham and his mother was Abigail NORTON. His paternal grandparents were Obediah Basham and Celia Dowell; his maternal grandparents are Jeremiah Norton and Abigail Unknown. He had six brothers and six sisters, named Obediah, Jeremiah (Felix), Allen Kellogg (Kell), Henry Washington, Isaac Thomas, Godfrey Taylor, Susan, Abigail, Celia, Sarah, Theodesia M 'Docia' and Rosena Ann. He was the youngest of the thirteen children. He died at the age of 59 on May 9th, 1908 in Hardin Co., Kentucky.1 General Notes
