Sanford L. was born on December 5th, 1878 in Breckenridge Co., Kentucky.1 Sanford L.'s father was Obediah Basham and his mother was Sarah Ann Roberts. His paternal grandparents were Frederick Basham and Abigail NORTON. He had seven brothers and five sisters, named Charles H., Thurman R., Warden Hardin, Frederick, William Maston, James F., Virgil Stewart, Mary C., Emeree, Minerva Jane, Sarah Catherine and Bettie L.. He died at the age of 85 on April 27th, 1964 in Christian Co., Kentucky.1 General Notes
