Elizabeth Lillian Basham 
Elizabeth Lillian was born on March 9th, 1906 in Flattop, Mercer Co., W Virginia.1 Elizabeth Lillian's father was Robert Hugh Basham and her mother was Sarah Malinda Hatcher. Her paternal grandparents were William Blane Basham and Juliana Lydia Lilly; her maternal grandparents were John Edmund Charles Lewis Hatcher and Eliza Lilly. She had nine brothers and five sisters, named Gracie May, Gilbert Ezra, Charles William, George Wesley (Twin), James Herford (Twin), Michael Fenton, Joseph Dale, Luther Bee, Sarah Marie, Bertha Lee, Clara Bell, Nellie Rose, Ruby Pearl and Edith Garnet. She was the seventh youngest of the fifteen children. She had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Roy Lesley and Ada Ethyl. She died at the age of 48 on May 8th, 1954 in Columbus, Franklin Co., Ohio. She was buried in Greenlawn Cem., Columbus, Ohio.1 1 General Notes
