Rhoda Basham 
Rhoda was born about 1812 in Franklin Co., Virginia.1 Rhoda's father was William Loyd Basham and her mother was Ama Meador. Her paternal grandparents were John, Sr. Basham and Francis Susanna Unknown; her maternal grandparents were Jessee Meador and Lucy (Nancy?) Hix. She had five brothers and three sisters, named Lloyd, Meador, John, Pleasant, David, Rebecca, Margaret and Mary (Polly). She was the fourth youngest of the nine children. She died on September 24th, 1877 in Summers Co., West Virginia.1 General Notes
