Loretta B. was born on February 18th, 1867 in Raleigh Co., West Virginia.1 Loretta B.'s father was Elijah C. Peters and her mother was Tamor A. Lester. Her paternal grandparents were Christian Snidow Peters and Mary Frances Bailey. She had three brothers and four sisters, named Christian C. Luther, Daniel Simon, Elijah, S. Bell, Albina R. J., Mary M. and Rachel V.. She was the second oldest of the eight children. She died at the age of 31 on August 15th, 1898 in Mercer Co., West Virginia.
