He was living very near to the Bailey family in Tazewell County, Virgin
at the time Isabell and Richard would have married. No marriage bond or
license has been found. The will of Samuel Ferguson (Cabell County,
Virginia) in 1825 devises to his daughter Isabel. According to Dianne
Bailey Thompson at: dthompson_67@@hotmail.com Samuel Ferguson gave land
to the town now called Tazewell, Virginia.
‌SAMUEL and MARY were married in a religious ceremony in 1765 in Augusta Co., Virginia.1 They had five sons and four daughters, named John, Samuel, John, William, Thomas, ISABEL F., Mary Jane, SARAH E. and Elizabeth.
