John Ferguson 
John was born in 1767 in Tazewell Co., Virginia.1 John's father was SAMUEL Ferguson and his mother was MARY Jameson. His paternal grandfather is ADAM Ferguson; his maternal grandparents were John James Jameson and JEAN Erwin. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Samuel, John, William, Thomas, ISABEL F., Mary Jane, SARAH E. and Elizabeth. He was the second oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 88 on August 31st, 1855 in Wayne Co., Virginia.1 General Notes
