JEAN was born about 1723 in Possibly, Philadelphia.1 JEAN's father was MATTHEW Erwin and her mother is ELIZABETH PATTERSON. Her paternal grandfather is JAMES ERWIN. She had two brothers and seven sisters, named Samuel, Henry, Agnes, Gennet, Eleanor, Elizabeth, Susannah, Ann and Mary. She was the fourth oldest of the ten children.
