Elizabeth was born about 1785 in Montgomery Co., Virginia.1 Elizabeth's father was John Jacob Peters and her mother was Frances Simms. Her paternal grandfather was JACOB PETERS and her paternal grandmother is ELIZABETH. She had five brothers and three sisters, named John, Phillip, Elijah, Christian Snidow, William, Catherine, Mary Frances and Frances Simms.
