William Peters 
William was born on October 19th, 1790 in Montgomery Co., Virginia.1 William's father was John Jacob Peters and his mother was Frances Simms. His paternal grandfather was JACOB PETERS and his paternal grandmother is ELIZABETH. He had four brothers and four sisters, named John, Phillip, Elijah, Christian Snidow, Catherine, Elizabeth, Mary Frances and Frances Simms. He was the second youngest of the nine children. He died about 1849 in Shenanadoah Co., Virginia.1 General Notes
