Green Lea 
Green was born on April 16th, 1781 in Cobbs Creek, Hyco, Orange County, North Carolina.1 Green's father was GEORGE Lea and his mother was *LUCY Talbert. His paternal grandparents were WILLIAM Lea and *FRANCES WHITE; his maternal grandparents were JOHN TALBERT and MARGARET Webster. He had two brothers and six sisters, named Ransom, Temple, FRANCES, Sarah, Rhoda, Eunice, Judith and Letty. He was the youngest of the nine children.1 General Notes
