James Floyd Lancaster 
James Floyd was born in 1858 in Georgia.1 James Floyd's father was Lewis Wesley Lancaster and his mother was Louisa M. Bassett. His maternal grandparents were John Bassett and AGATHA Heard. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Samuel, John William Bassett, Lewis Thomas S., Richard Lawson, Sarah J. L., Martha A., Nancy Mahala and Agatha L.. He was the second youngest of the nine children. He died at the age of 78 in 1936 in Carroll County, GA. He was buried in Beulah Cemetery, Carrollton, GA.1 1 -
