His paternal grandfather was CHARLES HEARD and his paternal grandmother is Isabella; his maternal grandparents were THOMAS FAULKNER and Mary 'Fara' Ferree. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Abraham, Thomas, George, Hurd, Jesse Faulkner, Amey, Mary and No. 14. He died on November 15th, 1815 in Wilkes Co., GA.1 General Notes

The recent information on Stephens wife/wives would suggest that there may have been only one wife named Margaret. Conflicting data on her surname suggests Margaret was first married to a Wilkinson or a Faulkner. Childs name of Mary Faulkner would suggest her surname was Faulkner.

No. 270 was born about 1804 in GA.1 She died on February 14th, 1880 in Caldwell Par., Louisiana.1
Purmely Heard
Purmely was born in 1810 in Georgia.1 She died at the age of 65 in 1875 in Spring, Morehouse Par., Louisiana.1
