Thomas W. Heard 
Thomas W. was born in 1811 in Georgia.1 Thomas W.'s father was Hurd and his mother was Heard. His paternal grandfather was STEPHEN Heard and his paternal grandmother is MARY Faulkner. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Stephen, Francis S., Hurd, Samuel S., No. 268, No. 270, Nancy and Purmely. He had two half-brothers and four half-sisters, named John S., GEORGE, Polly F., No. 273, No. 267 and Lucea "Luck". He died after 1850.1 General Notes

Named in father's will
Margaret, a widow conveyed ownership of a 10 year old Negro boy slave named Coleman to her son Thomas, a minor at the time. Said slave to go to her son Jesse if Thomas should die while still a minor. Transfer to take place after her decease.
