Margaret, a widow conveyed ownership of a 10 year old Negro boy (about 10 years od) slave named Coleman to her son Thomas, a minor at the time. Said slave to go to her son Jesse if Thomas shoudl die while still a minor. Transfer to take place after her decease.[poole2.ged]

‌Heard and Hurd were married in a religious ceremony on May 7th, 1791.1 They had five sons and four daughters, named Stephen, Francis S., Hurd, Samuel S., Thomas W., No. 268, No. 270, Nancy and Purmely.

Stephen Heard
Stephen was born before 1791 in GA.1 He died before December 20th, 1847 in Gaurdian named for Dau. Sophia, Hinds Co., MS.1
Francis S. Heard
Francis S. was born about 1798 in Georgia.1 He died in 1860 in Bolivar Co., Mississippi.1
Hurd
Hurd was born on January 9th, 1798 in Georgia.1 He died at the age of 55 on April 3rd, 1853 in Yazoo Co., Mississippi. He was buried after April 3rd, 1853 in Heard Cemetery, Lynwood, Yazoo Co., MS.1 1
No. 270 Furlow
No. 270 was born about 1804 in GA.1 She died on February 14th, 1880 in Caldwell Par., Louisiana.1
Purmely Heard
Purmely was born in 1810 in Georgia.1 She died at the age of 65 in 1875 in Spring, Morehouse Par., Louisiana.1
