1838 WILL OF RICHARD BASSETT SR: "It is my will and desire that my beloved wife Ann should have all my Estate and for the love and affection which I bear to her, I give to her all my Estate of every discription to have and to hold for and during her life..."
ANN and RICHARD WILLIAM were married in a religious ceremony.1 They had five sons and five daughters, named John, Ezekiel, Kilby, Richard William, Nathan, Elizabeth, Mary, Nancy Ann White, Sarah and Polly.

Ezekiel was born about 1790 in Maryland.1 He died on September 11th, 1868 in Walton Co, GA.1
Kilby Bassett
Kilby was born on August 18th, 1798 in Georgia.1 He died at the age of 64 on May 14th, 1863 in Drew Co., Arkansas. He was buried in Mt. Pleasant Campground Meth. Church Cemetery, Drew Co., Arkansas.1 1
Richard William Bassett
Richard William was born about 1800 in Georgia.1 He died before 1865 in Randolph County, Alabama.1
Nancy Ann White Bassett
Nancy Ann White was born on November 12th, 1804 in Georgia. She died at the age of 69 on May 12th, 1874 in Amity, Clark Co., Arkansas.
