Dual Parent was born on March 12th, 1908 in Elizabeth, Wirt Co., West Virginia.  Dual Parent's father was Daniel Parent Higgins and his mother was Mary Roman Wright.  His maternal grandparents were JAMES Montgomery Wright and NANCY Miller. He had four brothers and two sisters, named William Amick, Thomas W., Alvord W., Kenneth W., ? and Rena Mary.  He was the second oldest of the seven children. He had three half-brothers and a half-sister, named Hugh Jediah, Howard Rex, Dewey Paul and Helen Josephine.  He died  due to Lung Cancer at the age of 67 on November 28th, 1975 in Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital, Parkersburg, Wood Co., West Virginia.  He was buried on December 1st, 1975 in Knights of Pythias Cemetary, Elizabeth, Wirt Co., West Virginia.
