Peter Bolton 
Peter was born on September 28th, 1796 in Botetourt County, Virginia.1 Peter's father was HENRY Bolton and his mother was CATHERINE CHAPMAN. His paternal grandfather is HENRY BOLTON. He had a brother and four sisters, named JACOB, Elizabeth Sherry, Catherine, Mary and Sarah. He had nine half-brothers and six half-sisters, named Henry, George, William Henry, John, Joseph Preston, Absolum Dempsey, Daniel, James Madison, David, Margaret, Martha, Nancy Landon, Christiana, Elizabeth Ann and Ely Ann. He died at the age of 61 on March 17th, 1858 in Cedar County, Iowa.1 
‌Peter and Mary were married in a religious ceremony on December 26th, 1821.1 They had four sons and three daughters, named Henry Peter, James Francis, Thomas Berle, George Washington, Catherine, Ellen E. and Adaline Chapman.
