James Madison Bolton

James Madison was born on July 9th, 1824 in Giles County, Virginia.¹   James Madison's father was HENRY Bolton and his mother was Nancy Mann.  His paternal grandfather is HENRY BOLTON. He had eight brothers and six sisters, named Henry, George, William Henry, John, Joseph Preston, Absolum Dempsey, Daniel, David, Margaret, Martha, Nancy Landon, Christiana, Elizabeth Ann and Ely Ann. He had two half-brothers and four half-sisters, named JACOB, Peter, Elizabeth Sherry, Catherine, Mary and Sarah.  He died at the age of 79 on May 26th, 1904 in Montgomery County, Kansas.¹ 

‌James Madison and Elsie Virginia were married in a religious ceremony on August 12th, 1851.¹
