George Bolton

George was born on December 24th, 1804 in Botetourt Co. Virginia.¹   George's father was HENRY Bolton and his mother was Nancy Mann.  His paternal grandfather is HENRY BOLTON. He had eight brothers and six sisters, named Henry, William Henry, John, Joseph Preston, Absolum Dempsey, Daniel, James Madison, David, Margaret, Martha, Nancy Landon, Christiana, Elizabeth Ann and Ely Ann. He had two half-brothers and four half-sisters, named JACOB, Peter, Elizabeth Sherry, Catherine, Mary and Sarah.  He died at the age of 44 in 1848 in Cedar County, Iowa.¹ 

‌George and Margaret were married in a religious ceremony on January 29th, 1828 in Giles Co., Virginia.¹   They had a son named Charles Henry.
