Absolum Dempsey Bolton

Absolum Dempsey was born on August 1st, 1818 in Pearisburg, Giles Co., Virginia.¹   Absolum Dempsey's father was HENRY Bolton and his mother was Nancy Mann.  His paternal grandfather is HENRY BOLTON. He had eight brothers and six sisters, named Henry, George, William Henry, John, Joseph Preston, Daniel, James Madison, David, Margaret, Martha, Nancy Landon, Christiana, Elizabeth Ann and Ely Ann. He had two half-brothers and four half-sisters, named JACOB, Peter, Elizabeth Sherry, Catherine, Mary and Sarah.  He died at the age of 73 on June 2nd, 1892 in Crowely County, Kansas.¹ 

‌Absolum Dempsey and Elizabeth Ann were married in a religious ceremony on January 23rd, 1843 in Virginia.¹   They had a daughter named Cornilia Ann.
