Samuel Albert Bailey 
Samuel Albert was born on December 29th, 1854.1 Samuel Albert's father was Jameson Walker Bailey and his mother was Mary McComas. His paternal grandparents were Jameson Walker Bailey and Elizabeth B. Walker; his maternal grandfather was James McComas and his maternal grandmother is Rebecca Bailey. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Daniel Pearis, Charles W., James Floyd, Matthew Ellis, Irvin Hall, Rebecca Jane, Polly W. and Nancy E.. He was the fourth youngest of the nine children. He died at the age of 91 on April 7th, 1946.1 General Notes
Three members of his family died of pneumonia within nine days, plus the loss of the others for various reasons. Of that large family, only Lillie, Fred, and Bryan grew to adulthood. Samuel carried on with the
two youngest boys taking them to Texas and subsequently back to Missouri. He is buried at Mt. Olive, Lashmeet, West Virginia.
