His paternal grandparents were SAMUEL L. Bailey and MARY Walker. He had six brothers and two sisters, named John S., Augustus J., William Albert, Charles W. C., George P., Jamison, Sarah A. Jeston and Mary Elizabeth. He was the second youngest of the nine children. He died at the age of 80 on April 2nd, 1943 in Matoaka, Mercer Co., West Virginia.1 -
