Jechonias YANCEY 
Jechonias was born in 1772 in Albemarle Co., Va. Jechonias' father was Jeremiah YANCEY and his mother was Margaret MULLINS. His paternal grandparents were Robert YANCEY and Temperance DUMAS; his maternal grandparents were Mathew MULLINS and Mary MAUPIN. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Robert, Charles, Joel, Mary and Elizabeth. He was the second youngest of the six children. He died at the age of 48 in 1820 in Albemarle Co., Va.General Notes
