Temperance DUMAS 
Temperance was born in 1711 in Of, Louisa, Virginia. Temperance's father was Jeremiah DUMAS and her mother is Unity LACEY. Her paternal grandfather was Jean DUMAS. She had four brothers and two sisters, named Mathew, Mathen, Benjamin, Jeremiah, Ester and Sarah. She was the youngest of the seven children. She died at the age of 34 in 1745.General Notes

Temperance and Robert were married in a religious ceremony about 1739 in Hanover Co., Va. They had three sons and a daughter, named Charles, Robert, Jeremiah and Martha.
