Robert YANCEY 
Robert was born about 1743 in Louisa Co., Va. Robert's father was Robert YANCEY and his mother was Temperance DUMAS. His maternal grandfather was Jeremiah DUMAS and his maternal grandmother is Unity LACEY. He had two brothers and a sister, named Charles, Jeremiah and Martha. He was the second youngest of the four children. He died in 1774 in Louisa Co., Va.General Notes
