David YANCEY 
David was born about 1795 in Albemarle Co., Va. David's father was Jechonias YANCEY and his mother is Mildred WOOD. His paternal grandparents were Jeremiah YANCEY and Margaret MULLINS. He had four brothers and a sister, named Charles, Joel, Jeremiah, William and Martha. He was the second youngest of the six children. He died in Cooper Co., Mo.General Notes
