Ross Thaxton

Ross was born in April 1876 in Ohio. Ross' father was James S. Thaxton and his mother was Mary Jane Ervin. His paternal grandparents were Sheppard Thaxton and Martha J. McCormick. He had four brothers and five sisters, named Elmer, Oliver Perry, Franklin S., Albert O. "Bertie", Effie M., Alice, Marietta, Adeline and Nancy M.. He was the third youngest of the ten children.
