Alice Thaxton

Alice was born about 1864 in Ohio. Alice's father was James S. Thaxton and her mother was Mary Jane Ervin. Her paternal grandparents were Sheppard Thaxton and Martha J. McCormick. She had five brothers and four sisters, named Elmer, Oliver Perry, Franklin S., Ross, Albert O. "Bertie", Effie M., Marietta, Adeline and Nancy M.. She was the second oldest of the ten children.
