David Franklin Thaxton

David Franklin was born on February 7th, 1756 in , Goochland, Virginia and his baptism took place on May 24th, 1756 in Goochland, St. James, Northam Parish, Virginia. David Franklin's father was James X Thaxton and his mother was Elizabeth Clarke. His paternal grandparents were Abel Thackston and Lucy Davis; his maternal grandfather is Daniel Clarke. He had four brothers and a sister, named Peter, James William, James, John and Margaret "Peggy". He was the oldest of the six children. He died after April 1st, 1815 in ,Prince Edward, Virginia. He was buried before October 16th, 1815 in will proved.

‌David Franklin and Sarah were married in a religious ceremony on March 16th, 1777 in St.James Northam, Parish, Goochland, VA. They had five sons and four daughters, named Robert, William, Samuel, David Franklin, Sheppard, Elizabeth, Peggy, Nancy and Sarah.
