Peggy Thaxton

Peggy was born before 1785 in VA. Peggy's father was David Franklin Thaxton and her mother was Sarah Sheppard. Her paternal grandparents were James X Thaxton and Elizabeth Clarke. She had five brothers and three sisters, named Robert, William, Samuel, David Franklin, Sheppard, Elizabeth, Nancy and Sarah. She was the fourth oldest of the nine children.
