Golda Thaxton

Golda was born in 1899 in Sissonville, Kanawha, WV. Golda's father was General Scott Thaxton and her mother was Nancy Emma Dawson. Her paternal grandparents were Franklin P Thaxton and Charlotte Lanham. She had four brothers and five sisters, named Russell, William C, James M, Isaac L., Ivey, Tempa, Ruby, Inez and Glena. She is the fifth youngest of the ten children.
