Glena Thaxton

Glena was born in 1909 in Sissonville, Kanawha, WV. Glena's father was General Scott Thaxton and her mother was Nancy Emma Dawson. Her paternal grandparents were Franklin P Thaxton and Charlotte Lanham. She had four brothers and five sisters, named Russell, William C, James M, Isaac L., Ivey, Tempa, Golda, Ruby and Inez. She is the youngest of the ten children.
