Anne was born about 1393 in Of, Blakemere, Hartford, England. Anne's father was Richard TALBOT and her mother was Ankaret Le STRANGE. Her paternal grandparents were Gilbert TALBOT and Petronella BUTLER (BOTELER); her maternal grandparents were John Le STRANGE and Mary (Isabel) FITZALAN. She had five brothers and three sisters, named Gilbert, Richard, John, Thomas, William, Mary, Miss and Alice. She was the fourth youngest of the nine children.
