Isabella Despenser's marriage to FitzAlan was later annulled on thepetition of her husband, who claimed that he had been coerced into theunion for political reasons (i.e., her father's ambition). The son andtwo daughters that had been born to them were specifically bastardized bythe annulment decree. I can't remember offhand if either of the daughtersever married, but the son did, and his descendants used the surnameArundell (See CP s.v. "Arundel" for particulars on this annulment and the3 children).
