Melvin McVey

Melvin was born on July 15th, 1879 in Kanawha Co., WV.¹ Melvin's father was John Lewis McVey and his mother was America Virginia Jenkins. His paternal grandparents are James McVey and Phoebe Higginbotham; his maternal grandparents were Thomas Robert Jenkins and Martha Booker Fore. He had eight brothers and two sisters, named Sanford S., Edgar, Fred, Earnest H., Robert E., Albert M., John B., Walter B., Ida Mae and Maude. He died at the age of 90 on May 28th, 1970 in Kanawha Co., WV.¹
