Ida Mae McVey

Ida Mae was born on March 8th, 1865 in Kanawha Co.¹ Ida Mae's father was John Lewis McVey and her mother was America Virginia Jenkins. Her paternal grandparents are James McVey and Phoebe Higginbotham; her maternal grandparents were Thomas Robert Jenkins and Martha Booker Fore. She had nine brothers and a sister, named Sanford S., Edgar, Fred, Earnest H., Robert E., Melvin, Albert M., John B., Walter B. and Maude. She died at the age of 1 on May 30th, 1866 in Kanawha Co. She was buried in Old Jenkins Cemetary,Sissonville Rd.¹¹
