Nora Alice was born on June 6th, 1859 in ,Kanawha,W. Virginia. Nora Alice's father is Silas Carney and her mother was Lucinda m Fisher. Her paternal grandparents are William Carney and Margaret Bonnett; her maternal grandparents were John Fisher and Lucretia Harrison. She had five brothers and seven sisters, named Elbin C., Charles, Eldridge, John McClellan, William Franklin "Billy", Mary Catherine, America, Margaret Elizabeth, Lucretia, Celia Jane, Martha Bell and Sarah Ann. She was the sixth youngest of the thirteen children. She died at the age of 63 on June 29th, 1922 in ,Kanawha,W. Virginia.-
