Eldridge Carney 
Eldridge was born in April 1852 in ,Kanawha,W. Virginia. Eldridge's father is Silas Carney and his mother was Lucinda m Fisher. His paternal grandparents are William Carney and Margaret Bonnett; his maternal grandparents were John Fisher and Lucretia Harrison. He had four brothers and eight sisters, named Elbin C., Charles, John McClellan, William Franklin "Billy", Mary Catherine, America, Margaret Elizabeth, Lucretia, Nora Alice, Celia Jane, Martha Bell and Sarah Ann. He is the fifth oldest of the thirteen children.-
