Elbin C. Carney 
Elbin C. was born in 1846 in ,Kanawha,W. Virginia. Elbin C.'s father is Silas Carney and his mother was Lucinda m Fisher. His paternal grandparents are William Carney and Margaret Bonnett; his maternal grandparents were John Fisher and Lucretia Harrison. He had four brothers and eight sisters, named Charles, Eldridge, John McClellan, William Franklin "Billy", Mary Catherine, America, Margaret Elizabeth, Lucretia, Nora Alice, Celia Jane, Martha Bell and Sarah Ann. He was the second oldest of the thirteen children. He died at the age of 19 in 1865 in ,,North Carolina,During Civil War.-
