Margaret Elizabeth was born on May 3rd, 1854 in ,Kanawha,W. Virginia. Margaret Elizabeth's father is Silas Carney and her mother was Lucinda m Fisher. Her paternal grandparents are William Carney and Margaret Bonnett; her maternal grandparents were John Fisher and Lucretia Harrison. She had five brothers and seven sisters, named Elbin C., Charles, Eldridge, John McClellan, William Franklin "Billy", Mary Catherine, America, Lucretia, Nora Alice, Celia Jane, Martha Bell and Sarah Ann. She was the sixth oldest of the thirteen children. She died at the age of 62 on May 27th, 1916 in ,Kanawha,W. Virginia.-
