Eleanor was born about 1311 in Grismond Castle, Monmouth, Monmouthshire, England.1   Eleanor's father was Henry Plantagenet and her mother was Maud De Chaworth.  Her paternal grandparents were Edmund Crouchback Prince Of England and Blanche Of Artois; her maternal grandparents were Patrick De Chaworth and Isabel De Beauchamp. She had a brother and five sisters, named Henry "of Grosmont", Blanche, Maud Of Lancaster, Isabel, Joan De Lancaster and Mary.  She was the second youngest of the seven children.  She died in Arundel, England.  She was buried in ,Lewes, Sussex, England.1 1 


Eleanor's first family with John De Beaumont

‌Eleanor and John were married in a religious ceremony before June 1337.1   They had a son named Henry.

‌Eleanor and Richard (Copped Hat) were married in a religious ceremony in Ditton, England.1   They had two sons and two daughters, named Richard, John, Joan and Alice.
