Sir Hugh of Haccombe was born in 1360.1   Sir Hugh of Haccombe's father was Sir Edward Courtenay and his mother was Emeline Dauney.  His paternal grandparents were Hugh Courtenay and Margaret De Bohun; his maternal grandparents were Sir John Dawnay and Sibyl De Treverbyn. He had a brother named Edward.  He was the younger of the two children.1
